# Introduction

To create a table grid, after you've [installed and concluded setting up the ](https://docs.getxporter.app/space/XPORTERCLOUD/558288/Table+Grid+Next+Generation)<span style="color: #172b4d">[Table Grid Next Generation App on your Jira Cloud instance](https://docs.getxporter.app/space/XPORTERCLOUD/558288/Table+Grid+Next+Generation)</span><span style="color: #172b4d">, </span>go to the *Apps* screen, then, in the Table Grid menu, click *Grids*.

# Column Types

There are different [types](https://docs.idalko.com/tgng/display/TGCD/Column+Types) of the columns. These types are defined while creating the table, and will not have any impact while exporting data. However, since [Xporter](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/891368/xporter-export-issues-from-jira?tab=overview&hosting=cloud) does not know the type of each of the fields retrieved from the [Table Grid Next Generations App](https://docs.getxporter.app/space/XPORTERCLOUD/558288), in some cases, [additional formatting might be needed](https://docs.getxporter.app/space/XPORTERCLOUD/528566/Exporting+Tables).

The table below lists the column types supported in this integration and the respective and expected exported output.

> ℹ️ [Wiki] indicates that the field supports the [Wiki format](https://docsxporter.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XPORTERCLOUD/pages/527053/Wiki+Markup%2C+HTML+and+Links).
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ The types with * might need some [formats in the Template to accurately export](https://docs.getxporter.app/space/XPORTERCLOUD/528566/Exporting+Tables) what they are actually supposed to represent.

# Example

When you click to add a Grid, you can see that some column types are created by default, and with default names, such as:

- **Order:** column of the Sequence type.
- **Summary:** column of the String type.
- **Assignee:** column of Userlist type.
- **Status:** column of the Single Select List type.

You can check an example of the default columns and the new ones created in Figure 1.
