## Using the Navigation Bar Option

When you have a [Template](https://docs.getxporter.app/space/XPORTER/1412105) that only contains a [JQL query](https://docs.getxporter.app/space/XPORTER/1413910/JQL) or a [JQL iteration](https://docs.getxporter.app/space/XPORTER/1413887/Iterations), you can bypass going to an unrelated Issue to export it and go straight to the Xporter Reports menu (Figure 1). 

> ℹ️ **Enable or Disable Xporter Reports**

> ℹ️ You can enable or disable this feature by going to the **Xporter Global Options** menu and selecting either the *Enable* or *Disable* option.

> On the top menu of your Jira instance, click *Xporter* (Figure 1 - 1) and then *Xporter Reports* (Figure 1 - 2).

> Choose your Template (Figure 2 - 1) and the Output format (Figure 2 - 2), and then click *Export *(Figure 2 - 4). You can change the report file name by enabling the *Custom filename* option (Figure 2 - 3).

> > ℹ️ Only a Template that has the Xporter Report Scope option enabled will be visible on this menu.

> Wait for the operation to be completed, and then you will see a success message (Figure 3 - 1). Then, click *Download* (Figure 3 - 2) to retrieve your document.
