## Atlassian Marketplace Installation

Go to the [Atlassian Marketplace](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/891368/xporter-export-issues-from-jira?tab=installation&hosting=datacenter) and use the search bar to look for Xporter or click [this link](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/891368/xporter-export-issues-from-jira?tab=installation&hosting=datacenter) (Figure 1). <span style="color: #0d0d0d">Follow the provided instructions there (Figure 1) for installing Xporter.</span>

## Automatic Installation

You can install Xporter for Jira Data Center via the [Universal Plugin Manager](https://confluence.atlassian.com/upm/installing-marketplace-apps-273875715.html) (Figure 2).

> Click the *Settings*/gear icon (Figure 2 - 1), select *Manage Apps* (Figure 2 - 2) and then *Find new apps* (Figure 2 - 3).

> Use the search bar to locate Xporter (Figure 2 - 4) and press enter. Once Xporter appears, click the *Free trial*/*Buy now* button (Figure 2 - 5).

> A confirmation screen will appear (Figure 3). Click the *Accept & install* button to confirm the Xporter installation (Figure 3 - 1).

## Manual Installation

If you have the Xporter app file (an OBR file), you can install Xporter manually.

> Click the *Settings*/gear icon (Figure 4 - 1) and select *Manage Apps* (Figure 4 - 2).

> Click the *Upload app *button (Figure 5 - 1). A modal will open (Figure 5). There, click the *Choose File* option (Figure 5 - 2) to upload the *jiraxporter-X.X.X.obr* file (where X.X.X corresponds to the Xporter version). Click the *Upload* button (Figure 5 - 2) to complete the upload.

## <span style="color: #000000">License Activation</span>

> ℹ️ If Xporter is already installed and you need to activate a license, follow these steps. You can activate your license in one of two ways.

### License Provided by Using the Atlassian Marketplace

> 
> Click the *Settings*/gear icon (Figure 4 - 1) and select *Manage Apps* (Figure 4 - 2).
>

> 
> Click *Xporter for Jira*. Details about the plugin will be shown.
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> Edit the license key, insert your license hash, and then click *Update*. Your marketplace license has been installed.

### License Provided by Xblend

If you have a license provided directly by Xblend, install it using the plugin's internal licensing mechanism.

> 
> Click the *Settings*/gear icon (Figure 4 - 1), enter *Plugins* -> *Xporter for Jira* -> *License Management*.
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)

> Click the option *Click here to install a license provided by Xblend (not via Marketplace)*.
> 
> > Macro (rw-step)
> 
> If accepted, you are ready to use Xporter for Jira Data Center.
