## Introduction

By leveraging Microsoft Word and Excel documents, you can design and customize your report templates, streamlining Jira reporting and allowing for personalized visualization of project data.

## How it Works

You can create your own report [Templates](https://docs.getxporter.app/space/XPORTER/1412105) using Microsoft Word and [Excel](https://docs.getxporter.app/space/XPORTER/1413935), and upload them to Jira. Then [Xporter](https://www.getxporter.app/) will generate a report filled with your project data. 

With Xporter, you can export various Jira Issue's details:

- Fields (native and custom).
- Links (linked issues).
- Comments.
- Worklogs.
- Sub-tasks.
- Components.
- Status transitions.
- Attached images.
- Attachments.
- And more.

You can also create different documents, including:

- Custom project change logs.
- Custom product improvement documents.
- Custom release notes in a custom format.
- Requirements documents for Scrum meetings.
- Letters from an issue based on a template.
- Software documentation.
- Documents from single or multiple issues.
