## Exporting a Single Issue Using the Xporter Selector

When [Xporter for Jira Data Center](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/891368/xporter-export-issues-from-jira?tab=installation&hosting=datacenter) is enabled for a Project, Issue type, and User, the Xporter section will appear on the right side of the screen, on an Issue, as highlighted below (Figure 1 - 1).

To export the Issue based on a Template, select the Template from the dropdown (Figure 1 - 2) and click the *Export* button (Figure 1 - 3).

You can customize the document file name by enabling the *Custom filename* option (Figure 1 - 4). To enable this option, you first need to navigate to the Xporter global settings and enable it (Figure 2).

> ℹ️ You can include mappings in the filename, [the same mappings that are used inside The templates](https://docsxporter.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=jiraxporter34&title=Working%20with%20Templates), with a slightly different notation: starting with `$` and the name of the field. Examples:
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ - `/jira/document_${Key}.pdf`
> ℹ️ - `/jira/document_${Key}_${UpdatedDate}.pdf`
> ℹ️ - `/jira/document_${Key}_${UpdatedDate}_${Status}.pdf`
