## Introduction

The Post Function authentication screen (Figure 2) was created to authenticate HTTP requests that retrieve certain issue resources (e.g.: images and attachments) in post-function exports. 

This is useful when you are triggering the [export](https://docs.getxporter.app/space/XPORTER/1409732) (by changing the workflow status), but you do not have the necessary permissions to ensure that the report is successfully completed.

> ℹ️ - All data is encrypted before being sent over the network, using asymmetric encryption algorithms.
> ℹ️ - No information is sent in plain text over the network.

## Access

> On your Jira Data Center instance, click the gear/*Administration* icon (Figure 1 - 1) and click *Manage apps* (Figure 1 - 2).

> The Xporter menu will open on the left side of the screen. There, click *Post Function Authentication* (Figure 2 - 1).

> Here, you can edit the user information (Figure 2 - 2). Then, click *Save* (Figure 2 - 3) or *Remove *(Figure 2 - 4), to delete the information.
